Following the successful delivery of Clipper Guardian in March 2026, two more 88,000 CBM VLGC in Solvang ASA’s newbuilding program, Clipper Galiot (Hull No. H3459) and Clipper Galleon (Hull No. H3460), have been successfully delivered by HD Hyundai Heavy Industries at April and May, 2026.
Ti Korea carried out the cargo tank insulation works for both vessels, continuing its contribution to the series following the successful completion of Clipper Guardian. The vessels are designed with advanced environmental features and are prepared for the future installation of onboard carbon capture systems, supporting Solvang’s ongoing efforts toward more sustainable gas transportation.
The consecutive delivery of Clipper Galiot and Clipper Galleon further demonstrates the strong cooperation between Solvang ASA, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, and Ti Korea. Solvang’s continued confidence in Ti Korea’s insulation quality and project execution is a testament to the long-standing relationship between the two companies.
