We are pleased to announce another important breakthrough in our diversified cooperation with Jiangnan Shipyard: we have been awarded the construction contract for four 48,500 Cubic Meter Medium Ethane Carriers (MEC).
This batch of MEC vessels marks our first non-VLEC ship type developed and built in partnership with Jiangnan Shipyard, which greatly enriches the scope and product portfolio of our long-term joint shipbuilding program. It not only symbolizes the further expansion and diversification of our strategic collaboration, but also fully manifests Jiangnan Shipyard’s comprehensive recognition and deep-rooted trust in our core technologies, product reliability and overall system solutions across different gas carrier segments.
At present, all construction and fabrication works for these four 48,500 CBM MEC ships are progressing smoothly and on schedule under strict quality and safety control.
Moving forward, we will persist in adhering to stringent production standards, deliver high-performance and fully compliant gas transportation vessels, and continuously elevate the depth and breadth of our all-round strategic partnership with Jiangnan Shipyard.
