The company has been working continuously in the cryogenic field the last 50 years and has continued to strengthen the focus and specialization in the business. Ti has been at the forefront to develop new technology and methods which have resulted in successful projects and good results.
Established in 1980’s primarily in the offshore market for The North Sea we are also participating in insulation projects of more traditional kind for industry and the marine market. One of our main markets in UK is the Navy, where Ticon is playing a major role as a leading supplier and insulation contractor to the new builds for the Royal Navy fleet. The company is also heavily involved in after service and repair for the navy.

Began its part of the business in 2002 primarily as our Panel Production Facility, transferring from our plants in Europe and South Korea. Due to the ever-fast-growing LNG, LPG and LEG Shipping business it then naturally progressed as a cryogenic designer of systems and Turnkey provider of our system. Ti China are currently No 1 Insulation provider for Type A, Type B and Type C tanks domestically in China and providing systems and turnkey solutions for Asia, Europe, and North America.
Ti China has capacity to produce 10,000 panels per month, which is equal to 2 x 12,000m3 LNG Fuel tanks per month.
Ti Groups R&D and design facility is located in Pudong, Shanghai.
Ti Korea established in the 1980’s started with HHI on the Moss LNG tank design and Turnkey installation, we have had continuous works with HHI on both LNG, and LPG Cargo Tanks, delivering more than 150 VLGC’s. We have delivered the worlds first TiG Type B Panel System for LNG Fuel tanks. The company has currently +30 Ships on order both Fuel and Cargo tanks deliveries to HHI, SHI and DSME.
Ti Japan established in the 1970’s started with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) on the Moss LNG tank design and Turnkey installation at Nagasaki, we then had many orders with Mitsui Engineering and Shipbuilding (MES) We have recently delivered 5 x 174, 000m3 Sayaringo Class and 6 x 153,000m3 Sayaendo Class LNG with VLBOR all with the “TiG Type B panel” system.
